It is so windy
I nearly blow off
the bridge, onto you
Oh A27.
Remember when
You were closed
Outside Lewes
On my birthday?
Three long hours
We spent
Together
I really needed a wee.

Lewes, where hidden places go to hide.

Mare Crisium and Mare Fecunditatis. The moon at sunset (through binoculars) from Firle Beacon (not through bins). Sketched whilst under attack from giant horse flies (too scary to be featured – with, or without bins).

The new hit musical performed live at St Nicholas Church, Brighton.

A family field trip to the Chattri memorial. Sketching, sun and social distancing.

The advantage of keeping a consistent palette for years, is that you can remember where the colours are in the dark! Indigo, neutral tint, Payne’s grey, ultramarine, that weird Schmincke cerulean blue from Frankfurt etc. etc. etc.

A sneaky glimpse of the 11th century church at Ovingdean.

And the bus.

Keep your distance.
