An avant-garde moment at the cubist, Grand Cafe Orient, Prague.

The cafe is on the second floor of the House at the Black Madonna. Originally built as a department store, it now hosts two gorgeous cafe’s, the Czech Cubism exhibition and the most stunning staircase.

I was just here a few days ago!!!! What a small world! The cafe was a lovely surprise for us when we were wandering around looking for dinner after the marionette theatre. It was beautiful, and the food was lovely!

What a coincidence, small world indeed! We loved the cafe too – and the wood panelling in the cubist cafe downstairs as well. Sad to be leaving Prague now!
