Sometimes it’s tricky to know when to stop working on a painting. In this one, less may have been more.
Second time around, maybe it was about right.
Over the last couple of months, Queens Park in Brighton has been host to sextuplets.
Six weeks ago these fluffy little Cygnets were barely bigger than a hand. In the last week, their tiny chicken-like wings have doubled in size.
Time to sketch these beauties before I miss the chance!
Imagine my surprise when I stumbled across Luke Jerram’s Museum of the moon again. This time… in a museum!

This ridiculously windy spot at the base of Castle Hill nature reserve, marks the spot where Standean bottom meets Falmer bottom meets Balsdean bottom.
We have to find small pleasures where we can.
