Of all the many peculiar fountains in Lucerne, my favourite was outside Bistro Krienbrüggli.

The killer combination of dead sheep and creepy children dropping something (or someone) down a well. There are 3 steps to heaven and 3 million up to the Museggmauer. It’s worth it for the views.I couldn’t miss out the Spreuerbrücke, which is the oldest timber bridge in Switzerland. Completed in 1408 and washed down with a cold bier.

Well I have the last laugh this time, because my sketchbook was in the passenger seat. Ha!

Recycle that in your pipe.

Lots of love
