The cygnets in Queens Park were on a weed feeding frenzy today. The occasional stretch revealed the first splash of white wing-tips.

Over the last couple of months, Queens Park in Brighton has been host to sextuplets.
Six weeks ago these fluffy little Cygnets were barely bigger than a hand. In the last week, their tiny chicken-like wings have doubled in size.
Time to sketch these beauties before I miss the chance!

I knew she would be little, but I didn’t know she’d look so very sad! Perhaps it’s posing for all those photos.
Copenhagen is awash with students piling out from open backed trucks in their little white graduation caps, honking horns and general having a fabulous time.
At the Stork Fountain some dance in their pants, one even goes the Full Monty. This lot just ran round and round the fountain cheering loudly, before clambering back on their lorry off to the next stop!
A beautiful afternoon sketching and being tutted at for hogging the ‘sunny’ bench. It’s not ‘art’ if you don’t suffer. 
Eat a pasty bigger than your head, then walk the Lizard Peninsula. Freehand sketching optional.
